Shipping & Taxes


Most items are shipped via ground carrier. If ground delivery is not available or you have special delivery instructions, please include instructions with your order, or contact us directly to discuss your needs. When items ship directly from our partners, we can not specify the shipping carrier.

Inspection
When your order is delivered, be sure to inspect it carefully for damage. Freight damaged items so noted will be replaced at no additional charge. All freight claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of your merchandise. Please notify us by phone (913-438-2511) or our contact form of any damage so we can immediately initiate the replacement process with the manufacturer and/or the trucking company.

In the case of damage when shipped UPS, FedEx, or similar ground service, please respond as follows. If the package is obviously damaged, you can refuse delivery. Call us immediately so we can initiate the replacement process. Any damage found after opening your boxes and examining the merchandise should be reported to the shipper (UPS, DHL, etc.) as soon as possible to expedite the replacement process.

To protect yourself, if you receive damaged merchandise, always keep the shipping cartons until your claim has been acknowledged and settled by the shipper. If you accept damaged merchandise, the shipper has the right to inspect the original shipping cartons before honoring your claim. Disposing of cartons prior to filing a shipping damage claim may limit your ability to receive reimbursement or replacement for those items.

International Delivery (and Hawaii and Alaska)
Delivery to Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. territories is available at an extra cost. Kitchenshop does not ship internationally.

Method of Payment
Kitchenshop accepts American Express, Visa, Master Card, and Discover. Please note: all credit cards will be charged during the processing time within 1-2 days of the order being placed. We do not offer C.O.D. terms.

Shipping Time
Orders generally ship within 1 week after the order is placed. Please consider the processing time (1-2 days) and warehouse time (1-2 days) that it takes before your order can be shipped. We do not process orders on the weekends or holidays so please allow an additional 1-2 days for orders placed on these days. Next Day Air shipments may not be able to ship on the same day due to processing and warehouse time. Please call for a more specific leadtime for things that are not in stock. Please allow 10-14 days for delivery.

Returns
All returns should be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of merchandise by you. (This does not include items identified as damaged, so long as you have notified us as instructed.) You are responsible for freight charges to return the items to us. See returning items to Kitchenshop.com for more information. A restocking fee of 20% and your original shipping charges will be deducted from the credit issued.

Sales Tax
We must collect state sales tax on items shipped within Kansas and Missouri. In states other than Kansas or Missouri, customers are responsible for compliance with any applicable "use" taxes that may apply.
